Prior to establishing myself as a Northamptonshire wedding photographer, my time spent in this part of the world was as I passed through to other parts of the country. As I have come to realise I was missing out on a real gem. Offering an abundance of historic wedding venues set in outstanding countryside such as Fawsley Hall. With its perfect backdrops Historic architecture, beautifully designed gardens and when I’m not working I may even just visit for afternoon tea….

Documentary Wedding Photography

My couples love photography, many of them are themselves creative professionals. What they are sure that they don’t want is to spend a lot of time posing in front of a camera.

My approach is for you to enjoy your day to the full and capture it as it unfolds. No long lists of group shots, no comedy poses, and time to capture a few relaxed romantic images if you want them. It’s about being yourself and loving every minute of your day

How do I do this? I immerse myself completely in the milieu of your day, to be there for the moments that you see and those that you don’t. I won’t be ‘in your face’ and I’ll work discretely using available light rather than flash to capture you at your best, relaxed and enjoying your day just ‘being you’.

It’s how I love to work and my couples tell me in their lovely words how much it meant to them to capture their day in this way. No intrusion, no orchestration, just beautiful natural and relaxed photography. Images that you will love as much in 20 years as you do when you first see them.
