I live in Cambridgeshire with my lovely wife and our beloved Labrador, but I’m a bit of a nomad really. I’ve lived all over the world, and worked in some pretty amazing, cool places. By the time I was four I’d lived in 3 countries! The photo of me posing in my Batman outfit in our garden in Singapore at that tender age still makes my wife hoot with laughter, but hey, when you’re that well-travelled before you even get to school no wonder I thought I was a Superhero!
Now, I’m not the type of person to wax lyrical about things but I do love being a photographer and to tell people’s stories, through my camera, is amazing.
Behind the lens is when I’m at my most creative, I love observing people, watching how they interact and being able to photograph them at their most relaxed and happy, and to create atmospheric images that each tell a story, your story.
It’s more than taking a simple picture, that’s for sure. It’s being trusted and engaged to document an important part of your life, both the detail and little side-stories, unposed, unscripted, and just beautiful… captured in the moment and loved for a lifetime.
I feel incredibly honoured to be a part of something that is unique to every couple and I’d feel privileged to be part of your wedding day and tell your story.
“Dave and I wanted to thank you for being an amazing photographer at our wedding. Both of us and our guests felt so comfortable with you and everyone has commented on just how discreet you were. It was truly a pleasure to have you be part of our day.”
