On a bright spring day with saturated blue skies vivid against the blousy bloom of blossom trees, Hannah and Ian held their wedding ceremony at Churchill College, before heading back to the beautiful gardens and marquee at Hannah’s home.
The first year of married life can go by so quickly – it’s a year of firsts as a married couple and I think when you get to the first anniversary it’s just gorgeous to look back on the day and reminisce. What I remember about Hannah and Ian’s day is the incredible light and the laughter – during the confetti, the walkabout, the speeches and the dancing, they were both smiling and laughing with one another and their guests all day long.
The image from their day that I’m sharing is actually a portrait of them both with the blossom behind them – a little bit of romance to say happy anniversary…….I don’t often go for colour images but I love the blue of the sky and that feel of an exuberant spring and fresh beginnings that it evokes.
I wish them all the very best and hope that they have very many happy years together.
